The Chicago Tribune Monday unveiled prototypes of their upcoming newspaper redesign. The Huffington Post wrote “less news, more pictures.” This emphasis on photos is in line with the “above the fold” placement of a box promoting pictuers on chicagotribune.com’s homepage. Links in that box go to six galleries with a total of 1,323 pictures. (“Classic Chicago” and “Buy Photos” don’t go to galleries like the other links.)
